The Major William L.A. Ellis Collection

William Ellis is believed to have lived in Georgia for some years, then moved to Dallas, Texas where he appears to have lived the remainder of his life.  There are a number of financial and other documents in his records.  He apparently was a businessman in Dallas.  Below are a few documents giving a sense of his business and social interests during those years
